The New South Wales Land & Housing Corporation (LHC) owns and is responsible for the management of the State’s portfolio of some 144,000 social housing dwellings. This portfolio has a value of $31.9 billion.
Airds Bradbury Renewal Project
The Airds Bradbury Renewal Project is an undertaking of the Land & Housing Corporation in conjunction with Housing NSW.
The NSW Government is seeking Expressions of Interest from the private sector to enter into a Public Private Partnership (PPP) to deliver the Airds Bradbury Renewal Project. Read more here.
Cowper Street Glebe Housing Project
Some of Housing NSW’s ageing apartment buildings located in Glebe are being replaced. These buildings will be replaced with a mix of social housing, innovative affordable housing and new private housing.
An archaeological excavation of the Cowper Street site was undertaken in August 2011. Results of the investigation are summarised in a poster and leaflet.
Macquarie Park Task Force
The NSW Government has set up a specialist task force to advise on the re-development of Government land at Macquarie Park and opportunities with the private and tertiary sectors to maximise the potential for urban development and jobs growth.
